the statue of Darkwing Duck has rekindled my love for drawing darkwing duck. so i drew this up.

i like to think that honker helps gos with her homework and gosalyn ensures that honker never is the last person picked to play on the team.

Sideshow & DARKWING DUCK!

okay, so when i was between the ages of 8-12, my whole life was Darkwing Duck.

I drew him constantly, recorded the shows from the disney afternoon on VHS and through my radio, and my friends knew not to call me saturday mornings (I think 9-10). I had the Pizza the Hut personal pan pizza box taped and glued to the inside of my 1st portolfio - a folder dedicated to Darkwing Duck. I had the action figure, the plush doll, the sticker album, the MAD 'wanted poster' (which had the Tiny Toons on the other side)... do you see where I am getting at?

So when the DVD's came out, of course I was excited- though the lack of dedication from disney's part, to make these DVDs really awesome blows- I still love it.

Anyways- I am excited that Sideshow Collectables is releasing a statue of the coolest cartoon character ever. Maybe they'll release the whole gang?!

i love my cats, but Romeo stands out.he is the prettiest boy who suffers from orange cat syndrome, aka BRAT syndrome.

whenever i can't think of something to draw, it always ends up as a dragon. i like dragons. i wish i had a dragon.

Batman Gotham Knight

oh yeah- it is sick! My hubby came home with the rest of Batman the Animated Series (we were missing seasons 3 & 4) and he also brought home Batman Gotham Knight. Some are better than others- but i am happy to say it's really MOST are better than others! Can't go wrong with this DVD!

The animated series (y'know Bruce Timm's?) were on sale for $17.00 at Best Buy(reg. 35.00) and the Gotham Knight $20 for the special 2 disc edition.

HOW can you go wrong? prepping us for some BAT! July 18th can't come sooner!

Walking with Dinosuars- LIVE!

i love dinosaurs. that is something that hasn't changed since i was a kid and i always thought wouldn't it be cool if there were animatronic dinosuars that moved freely? well- i guess i wasn't the only one who had this dream! from the creators of the Walking Dinosaurs series comes a live event... where you get to see life sized dinosuars, moving and roaring thier little hearts out. it was a tour that started in Sydney, Australia- and it's touring the US. my husband and i saw the making of this past weekend and learned it was going to be at the Honda Center in August.
Friday August 22, 7pm baby- front and center! well- row J- but still in the center!

Street Fighter Tribute Book

this looks so neat! i mean- who doesn't like street fighter? when i was growing up my brothers never really let me play with them- but i was content on looking through the guide's artwork. very cool. this book is around $80 (dunno about S&H) and you can pre order here. some of the artists include Cheeks, Bobby Chiu, and artists from UDON enterrainment

and another book that is really neat is (and kinda old) is Capcom Design Works.
this book is has been around for a few years but it has artwork that can be found in Strategy guides. it has awesome poses, great costumes, and just the right hint of nostalgia!

there is an online comic found on DA here and it tickles my funny bone! anyways been wanting to draw up some of my favorite characters- anubis & thoth- so this is my 1st fan art of this comic. the comic is made from egyptian scrolls- so there isn't any
new' art- but the writing is where it really gets me. he also has other comics, like a time traveling samurai... enjoy!
